Established in 1982, located in Coimbatore and named after a great Indian poet, Subramania Bharati, Bharathiar University is a state university of Tamil Nadu. Fees and Expenses

The course fee is quite economical and affordable. An MBA course costs Rs. 26,400, whereas an MCA course is Rs. 48,050. The course fees of BA or B.Com. and, MA or M.Com. are Rs. 15,050 and Rs. 15,600 respectively.

A diploma or PG diploma course is available at Rs. 7,150 or Rs. 9,150 respectively. Rs. 27,650 is the course fee for BCA course and, a BBA course costs Rs. 17,750 to the students.

Admission Process

Only offline mode is available for students to apply for a course. Applicants are required to download the form from the university’s website and submit the same with other testimonials and requisites to the centre, either in person or by post. The application form should contain a demand draft of Rs. 150 towards the application fee.

A student can also obtain the form in person or by post, by paying the requisite application fees from the centre. Eligibility

Admission to any course, right from certificate level to post graduate stage is given on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Entrance Examination

For B.Ed. course in Bharathiar University Distance Education, the students are required to appear an entrance test and selection is made on the basis of score and rank secured by the student. The maximum marks of this entrance test are 100 marks.
